Alison Moore Designs says thanks to NHS workers

Orkney jewellery designer, Alison Moore, has joined over 100 British brands in saying a collective thanks to NHS workers for their efforts during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Alison has donated 20 pairs of gemstone earrings to a special raffle of over 400 prizes worth more than £50,000 and redeemable only by NHS staff.

The raffle is part of the At Your Service initiative, founded by luxury tour operator Original Travel. The firm had wanted to gift a £10,000 holiday to an NHS worker, but then decided to issue a rallying call for raffle prizes to brands throughout the country.

“When I heard about the At Your Service initiative and raffle, I wanted to get involved immediately,” said Alison. “NHS staff work incredibly hard at the best of times, but this unprecedented crisis has provided us all with an often stark reminder of just how dedicated they are. I’m delighted to be able to make this small contribution and I hope the earrings will bring joy to whoever wins them.”

Tom Barber, founder and director of Original Travel said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the response to our At Your Service campaign and the community feel of British brands coming together to reward those most deserving. We know it's a small gesture, but one we hope goes some way towards expressing our collective gratitude to NHS staff for the selfless way in which they are tackling the worst crisis this country has faced in a generation and more.

“We hope the campaign reaches NHS staff far and wide and that our At Your Service idea will give them something to look forward to soon.”

The 20 pairs of gemstone earrings donated by Alison come from her Nebula collection.

At Your Service is a free to enter raffle. It will be open to all NHS workers until the closing date of 5 July 2020. To enter, NHS staff will need to use their NHS email addresses which will be verified by Original Travel. New prizes will continue to be added until 5 July so brands can still get in touch to be involved. T’s & C’s apply.
